Sub-processors

Effective 13 September 2026 · Version 2026-09-13

A sub-processor is a company we use to run Atrovia that may handle your data in the process. We keep this list current because you're entitled to know who touches your information, and because your own customers may ask you the same question.

Every provider below is bound by a written agreement requiring them to protect your data, use it only to provide their service to us, and to say nothing about it to anyone else. None of them is permitted to use your business data to train AI models.

Infrastructure

ProviderWhat it doesLocation
Vercel Inc. Application hosting and content delivery for atrovia.co and the Atrovia app United States
Supabase Inc. Database, authentication, file storage and serverless functions — this is where your account data lives United States

AI models

ProviderWhat it doesLocation
Anthropic PBC The models behind the Atrovia agents. Processes the content of your conversations and the business data an agent needs to answer, then returns the response. It works only on what Atrovia's servers send it — it never receives your QuickBooks, Google or Meta connection or tokens, and cannot access those services directly United States

Under our agreement, your data is not used to train models, is not retained beyond what's needed to return the response, and is not used for any purpose other than serving your request. This is the commitment in section 5 of the Privacy Policy, and it is contractual rather than a matter of trust.

Payments and communications

These providers are engaged for billing and for the outbound messaging that credits pay for. We update this page before a new provider begins handling customer data — never after.

CategoryProviderWhat it handlesLocation
Payment processing Stripe, Inc. Card details and billing records. Atrovia never sees or stores full card numbers — they go directly to Stripe, and checkout happens on their own hosted page rather than ours. United States
Telephony and SMS Telnyx LLC Delivers the text messages and calls your credits pay for. Handles recipient numbers and message content. United States
Transactional email Your connected mailbox Account email — receipts, alerts, password resets. Today this is sent through the business mailbox connected in Settings, which means no separate provider handles it. If we switch to a dedicated sending service, it will be named here first. —

Services you connect — not sub-processors

These are different, and the difference is worth understanding. When you connect QuickBooks or a Google account, you are authorising us to access a service you already hold. They aren't processing data on our behalf; we're reading data on yours.

Each is governed by your own agreement with that company, and you can disconnect any of them at any time in Settings.

Changes to this list

We update this page before a new sub-processor starts handling customer data. If you'd like to be emailed when it changes, tell us at admin@atrovia.co and we'll add you to the notice list.

If you have a data processing addendum with us, the objection process in that DPA applies to any addition. If you'd like a DPA, ask — we'll send one.
